BEYOND SPORTS NETWORK INTERVIEW FOR C. "PIG" BROWN.

How was your experience playing at Reedley Community College and how did you come to decide on moving up to play for Missouri?
Experience was a good; it was a big change to move up. The guys were stronger, and faster and I know I was able to play at this level.

What kind of difference did you notice in the level of play from high school to College and what did you have to do to prepare?
It was more film study, because of the different level of playing. I took care of my body. Like resting, training harder and eating good.

How did you get ready for "Gameday" and did you have any particular routine you would follow every week?
I didn't really have a routine, and I really didn't have to get ready for game day. I would just keep to myself, because my game play speaks for itself.

What kind of lasting impression did the seniors before leave that helped you to be a leader in your senior season? What is one piece of advice you would leave for the upcoming seniors?
Just play every game like it is your last. I would tell the new seniors to "finish what we started". We went 12 and 2 and that's not good enough. So finish it next year and "football is not everything there is life after".

Missouri had a great season in 2007. What are your fondest memories of that season that will stay with you as you prepare to graduate?
Just to see every guy do well. It makes you want to do good and know I have to deal with real life now.

What do you consider your best accomplishments up to this point in your career?
Being named, and being respected by the coaches, and being able to play in eight games of the season and putting up the great numbers that I did. Knowing they were numbers that guys have for a full season, and I put up those numbers in eight games.

You are going to be in the 2008 NFL Draft. Tell us what a coach at the NFL level gets when they select you.. What separates you from the next strong safety?
That he is going to get a good hard working guy. I am good on and off the field, and someone that will give it his all (100%). My heart and for my size in the NFL I am a little smaller, but I don't stand down to anyone.

How have you been training/ preparing for the draft and pre combine workouts? Do you have any expectations for the Draft?
I have been "rehabbing", and then I go train and work out. Mostly cardio work, and stretching. This way I can get back into the swing of things. It's kind of hard to think of that because of my situations. If I do get drafted, great,  if not I am going to do the best I can to succeed in life.

So Pig Brown how is the injury coming along and will you be ready for the NFL Draft?
My injury is coming along great. I am going to be ready for my pro day coming up on March 6, 2008. On my injury I am about 95% healed.

We at Beyond Sports would like to wish you the best of luck in the NFL Draft and your future career. Thank you for taking the time to interview with us.
